Final4 marked a strong finish to the indoor season

This weekend marked the end of the indoor season with the Final4 tournament, where Gentofte Hockey Klub participated with three teams in close collaboration with KH and Hørning. It became an eventful and impressive conclusion to the season, with strong performances across all age groups.

U10 played a dramatic semifinal against Vestegnen, decided by a shootout. Gentofte kept their cool and secured a place in the final. In the final, Slagelse awaited—a team that has been a tough opponent all season with high efficiency in front of goal. This proved decisive once again, and Slagelse took the win. A remarkable effort from the U10 squad throughout the weekend.

U12 fought hard and earned a well‑deserved bronze medal after a strong team performance and great determination.

U16 entered Final4 with confidence after a strong finish to the regular season. In the semifinal, they faced a very strong Slagelse team, who later went on to win gold. The bronze match was decided by small margins, and Gentofte narrowly missed out. Still, a solid performance from the entire U16 group.

All three teams contributed to a memorable Final4 weekend, showcasing the club’s depth, development, and commitment. A big thank‑you goes out to all parents and volunteers supporting the teams.
