Terms and Conditions for B3B Basketball Club Membership
By signing up for a B3B Basketball Club membership, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your registration.
1. Membership Benefits
A B3B Basketball Club membership grants access to the following:
- Attendance at your designated team’s training sessions.
- Participation in other training sessions at the same skill level, subject to available space and coach approval.
- Participation in open gym sessions, where members can practise independently or together with teammates.
- Access to games against other teams, club tournaments and social events.
Certain games, tournaments, camps, uniforms and special activities may require separate registration or payment.
Participation in games, tournaments and additional training sessions may depend on available space, team selection, attendance, skill level and coaching decisions.
Training sessions are generally held indoors throughout the year.
Training schedules may be adjusted or cancelled during public holidays, school holidays, including week 42, facility closures and circumstances outside B3B’s reasonable control.
During July, regular team training schedules may be reduced or changed. Subject to available facilities, B3B will aim to offer open training sessions, events or other basketball activities during this period.
Membership does not guarantee a specific number of individual training sessions, games, tournaments or events.
B3B will nevertheless make reasonable efforts to provide the core team training and basketball activities included in the membership.
2. Pricing and Payment
Initial Signup Fee
A signup fee of 150 DKK is charged when joining or rejoining B3B Basketball Club.
The signup fee covers membership registration and administration and is non-refundable once the registration has been completed, unless B3B cancels the membership before it begins or a refund is required by law.
Monthly Payment Plan
The monthly membership fee is 350 DKK per month.
The membership fee is charged each month and continues until the membership is cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy stated in these terms.
The monthly payment plan has no fixed minimum commitment period. However, the cancellation notice period described in Section 3 still applies.
Six-Month Payment Plan
The six-month membership fee is 1,800 DKK paid upfront, covering one fixed six-month membership period.
For price-comparison purposes, this is equivalent to 300 DKK per month. It remains one fixed six-month membership purchased through a single upfront payment and is not a monthly payment plan.
The six-month payment plan does not renew automatically. B3B will contact the member before the paid membership period ends, and the member must actively confirm if they wish to continue for another six-month period.
The six-month payment plan is optional. Members may choose between the monthly payment plan and the six-month payment plan.
The six-month payment is not normally refundable if the member stops attending, becomes unavailable or changes their mind. The membership will remain active and available until the end of the paid six-month period, unless otherwise stated in these terms.
Payment Method
Payments are made through our membership system, Holdsport. Holdsport includes MobilePay as a payment option and uses automatic payments for recurring membership fees.
Members are responsible for ensuring that their payment details and contact information remain correct and up to date.
Cancelling a payment card, stopping an automatic payment or simply stopping attendance does not cancel the membership.
Changing the Payment Plan

A payment-plan change will only take effect after it has been confirmed by B3B and will normally apply from the beginning of the next payment period.
An active six-month payment plan cannot be changed to a monthly payment plan during an existing paid six-month period unless B3B agrees otherwise in writing.
Unpaid Fees
B3B reserves the right to:
- Send payment reminders.
- Charge reminder fees and other costs permitted by law.
- Temporarily suspend the member’s participation in training sessions, games and other club activities.
- Refer unpaid membership fees to a debt collection agency, known as inkasso, in accordance with applicable law.
Leaving the club or stopping attendance does not automatically cancel the membership or remove the obligation to pay outstanding or previously agreed fees.
Members are still required to pay all applicable membership fees for the payment period they have signed up for.
If a member stops participating in training sessions or games but has not formally requested cancellation through the cancellation form on the B3B website, the membership will remain active.
The member will continue to be charged for the full payment period for which they are registered until the membership has been properly cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy.
3. Membership Cancellation and Pause Policy
Monthly Payment Plan
Members on the monthly payment plan can cancel their membership at any time.
The cancellation period is the current calendar month plus one full calendar month.
For example, if a cancellation request is received at any time during August, the membership will end on 30 September.
The membership remains active, and the membership fee remains payable, throughout the cancellation period.
Six-Month Payment Plan
The six-month payment plan covers one fixed six-month membership period and ends automatically when the paid period is complete.
It does not renew automatically, and members do not need to cancel it.
B3B will contact the member before the period ends, and the member must actively confirm if they wish to continue for another six months.
Stopping attendance during the six-month period does not shorten the membership, and fees are generally non-refundable, as they help cover ongoing club costs such as facilities, coaches, referees, tournaments, administrative costs and equipment used by the club.
How to Cancel
Members on the monthly payment plan can cancel their membership by completing the cancellation form on our website.
The cancellation request must clearly identify the member whose membership is being cancelled.
Once the cancellation form has been successfully submitted, the member will receive confirmation of the cancellation.
Simply stopping attendance, leaving a team group or stopping payment is not considered a valid cancellation of the membership.
Pausing Membership
Pausing membership is not possible.
This policy is in place to provide financial stability and predictability for the club, as B3B continues to pay for facilities, coaches, administration and other club expenses throughout the membership period.
The monthly payment plan is designed to offer flexibility to members who prefer smaller and more manageable payments. However, this flexibility does not include temporarily pausing the membership.
Travel, injury, illness, work, study or other personal circumstances do not automatically pause the membership or payment obligations.
Members on the monthly plan who expect to be away for a longer period may cancel their membership according to the cancellation period above and rejoin at a later date.
Members on the six-month plan remain members until the end of their paid six-month period.
When rejoining B3B after a membership has ended, the signup fee must be paid again.
4. Volunteering and Aid
Members who are experiencing financial difficulties may apply to volunteer for the club in exchange for reduced or free membership.
Any volunteering arrangement must be approved by the B3B board and agreed in writing through a separate volunteer contract.
Volunteer-based membership is not guaranteed and depends on the club’s current needs, available roles and the member’s ability to complete the agreed responsibilities.
Children and young people may qualify for free or reduced membership through municipal or other financial aid programmes.
