Game report - Motion A vs KSF blå

In our first meetup with KSF this season, as expected, the KSF played a tough and physical game against us.

First Period

Some good moments at both ends; opponents' stick got halved after Bryn's wrister from the blue line. Esben came right on time to block some nasty shots. KSF almost opened the score with their captain having five pokes at Elliot's pad until Esben cleared him off.

Falcons goal: With six seconds left on the clock, we win the face-off, and Bryn zings one past their goalie 1:0

Second Period

KSF goes into second gear and spends some time on our end. After some scrum near our boards game gets lot more physical.

KSF goal: #27 dangles through and scores 1:1

#60 checks Esben at their blue line and gets 2 minutes

Falcons goal: With a great assist from Killian, Bryn gets a breakaway goal 2:1

Amazing chance for Janek at the post, but the puck goes wide.

In the last minute KSF got us pushed into our zone, but Emil and team denied them chances to equalize.

After the period KSF outshoots us 17 to 8

Third Period

Falcons goal: Right after the puck drop Martin scores top shelf, and its 3:1

After Esben's shot on goal Kilian gets into scramble with their defense looking for a rebound.

KSF goal: We get caught in a 2-on-1, and #63 scores 3:2

It gets spicy on our end after some rough play (I saw what you did there Rustam :D) Jon gets a crushing check at the boards, and #65 gets 2 minutes to cool his head off.

Falcons PP goal: Esben gives a nice pass to the crease and Martin puts it 4:2

Falcons goal: A little miscommunication by KSF, and Martin scores his hat-trick, a comfortable 5:2 with 8 minutes left in the period.

KSF goal: After another 2 on 1 situation #63 gets his second of the night and its 5:3

KSF goal: Cheeky fella #63 gets his hat-trick, and its 5:4

Janek rings the left post from the blue line, close one.

#61 gets 2 minutes for tripping Martin. Needed breather for the last minutes.

As expected last minutes KSF went all-in into our zone, #63 hits out post after a rebound.

We got lucky the second time just 1 minute till the end. After a poke from #63 and early referee's whistle, puck treacherously slides over the line. KSF is furious and demands VAR and referees to check their eye sight but to no avail.

Falcons holds their fort and gets a tough win over KSF!
