🏏 Glostrup Cricket Club Honored at Glostrup Sports Recognition Gala 2025 🎉

This week, Glostrup Cricket Club was proudly represented at the Glostrup Sports Recognition Gala 2025, organized by the Center for Culture, Sports and Leisure.

The event was attended by Mayor Kasper Damsgaard and Vice Mayor Dan Madsen, who helped celebrate the many sporting achievements from across Glostrup — including ours!

Our club was recognized for an outstanding 2024 and 2025 season, with several strong results across youth and women’s cricket:

🏅 U13 – Silver medal (DM 2024)
🏅 U15 – Bronze medal (DM 2025)
🏅 U18 – Bronze medal (DM 2025)
🏅 Women’s team – Silver medal (DM 2025)

In addition, we proudly celebrated all our national team players who represented Denmark/DCF during the past season.

Although not everyone could attend, Glostrup Cricket Club was strongly represented on stage, and it was a proud moment to see our youth, women, and senior members recognized for their hard work, talent, and commitment.

👏 A big thank you to Glostrup Municipality for this recognition — and to all our players, coaches, and volunteers who make our success possible!
